Sort of. Last time I checked GeoServer needed the wfs store to be able to
override the advertised namespace with the one
passed in as a parameter, otherwise as far as I know it will stop working
correctly (think of the current relation between
workspace/namespace and the stores contained in a workspace).

So, it would be best to have both options, pass a namespace value to force
an override, do not to get the
native ones. I believe the old wfs store worked this way.
