For better or worse the iPhone will probably goad Cingular and other
providers into getting more realistic about the way they handle geo and data
services.

Features are great, but if it sucks as a phone it's worthless.  Battery
life, durablility and ease of switching tasks are paramount.  I don't give a
rats ass about it being able to do geo location and mp3 playback if it can't
stay running for at *least* three days without charging and actually make
and answer calls easily.  That and have an easy to use automatic keylocking
feature.
