What i've been using lately is yahoo pipes. It lets you take any craigslist feed and run it through a term extractor to find locations and makes an output as georss, with display as a map.
it works, and a version could be made for every craisglist feed, but right now it's kind of hard to find. Most people don't do it. I for one found it invaluable when i was looking for an apartment. -rabble ps, full disclosure, i did a very small bit of work on pipes to help it launch...
