Just an update! I've been subscribed to the list because I'm
still coordinating :) I've found homes for all but a few of my
gerbils and currently have 3 male rats. I've had a black and
silver nutmeg pair in my brothers room for quite some time now
and I'm going back and forth on them. I've had them since.. the
black since December and the SN since March, and I'm thinking
about keeping them in my brothers room and the rats in my room
and just seeing what happens.
I'll wait 3-5 months and if there is nothing at all then I'll
breed a litter of rats. I'd just like to see what happens with no
other gerbils around Marsha & Tyler (the black/SN) and no other
rats around my boys. If my gerbs get sick, then my gerbs get sick
and that's the end of gerbils for me. But if not then I'm just
curious as to what might happen. I've never had a healthy clan of
gerbils that haven't been around sick gerbs so I think that was
my #1 problem. Anyway, any ideas?
