I told everyone I'd keep updating on my chaos of pups, so here I
am :)

The pup with the "head trauma" as Deb diagnosed it is doing very
well. He doesn't seem to want to nurse much, and he's refusing
the KMR, but he is nibbling on lots of the solid food, so I keep
the food dish full at all times. I also sprinkled the food mix I
make with some dry KMR so he'll get at least a little bit of
that, which has lots of nutrition. His eyes are both open and
bright and just by looking at him you couldn't tell he ever had a
problem, exept that he's a bit wobbly because of a small head
tilt.

And one of the pups I fostered to Hope & Hero passed away last
night. Despite my and H&H's best efforts they just weren't
getting the nutrition they needed. Heart is still alive, but she
was such a weak little thing I made the hard descision to foster
her back to Miranda. I feel a surge of guilt every time I see
Hope or Hero poke around in the nest looking for her, but I
needed to do what's best for the pup. Plus Hope and Hero were
mating last night so they've got more on the way, and I stocked
them tubes & toys & food to keep their mind off Heart :)
