Hi all,   My little clan is doing very well.  Hanna, Jo-Jo, and the three pups are healthy and thriving.  The pups are eating seeds, cereal, and still mama's milk.    I don't know how a gerbil can nurse more than three pups.  To see Hanna will three half grown pups all nursing at once is a sight!  I thought it was hard with my twins.   Shushan and Boaz have not had their litter yet.  I can not imagine how she can get any bigger!  She has been building and rebuilding her nest for the past few days.  If I am correct about the day of conception day 25 will be July 1, this Saturday.  She is much larger than Hanna was with her litter.   I have been working on more backgrounds and graphics.  There are some excellent ones to view at:  http://home.maine.rr.com/mountainash/back1.html Please not there is a link to page two now.   I have had a few members offer the use of their pictures, but I am still looking for more.  It would be nice to have some of gerbils on hands, on wheels, playing with toys... In other words "action shots".  They do need to be clear, and good contrast between the gerbils and the background is important.   Thank you, Janet and Liz
