It is very rare that my gerbils bite. I've had gerbils for one and a half
years now, and none of them ever seriously bit me hard. I've had a few that
grabbed me with their mouth, but never bit hard.
off topic here,,,,
I just had a member of the GML ask me how many gerbils I have,,, I took
count and right now, I have 52, 34 of them are pups from newborns up to 10
weeks old. I've been breeding gerbils for 1.5 years and to date, I have
taken care of 170 gerbils.
