I once asked the cleaning lady in my office building to collect a few of those large
rolls for me...and now I find about two bags' worth (small garbage bag size) in my
office every week! :-) But that's way too many so I have to tell her to stop. I
thought maybe I'll use them to build a maze, but don't have the time right now.
Actually, although they last much longer, I've noticed my gerbils don't chew on them
much unless there's absolutely nothing else. Even then they'd chew on the cage more
than the rolls. Maybe it's too hard a cardboard? They'll leap for me when I come
close with a regualr toilet roll though. I also asked the people in my office to
collect their TPs and paper towel rolls too, so now I'm not worried anymore that I
don't use rolls fast enough! :-)
