Why wouldn't the vet see him? Because you can't afford to pay him? It is unfortunate vets are so expensive, but if you cannot afford one you should not have a gerbil, or hamster or anything, because eventually they most probably will get sick.
I feel so sorry for your hamster, just like I felt so sorry for your gerbil. At least this hamster wasn't tortured by you but died quickly.
I, too, am curious about your age. What do your parents say about all these pets you have?
