I just tried the current development version on a W2K machine, with
the user input device being an xterm, and the arrow keys as well as ^P
and ^N worked.  For the arrow keys, maybe the windows console or
whatever you are using produces different esc-sequences (which ones?)
than the xterm, but ^P and ^N should work in any case.

That was on the P54-166, right?  The difference between W32Forth and
Gforth-0.5.0 should be small on the Athlon.
