I agree with this.  My gut feel is to stick with [| ..|] and variants, and live 
with the fact that TH and QQ aren't using them in quite the same way.

Why not provide some nice Unicode version too? ⟦ .. ⟧  ⟪ .. ⟫  ⦃ .. ⦄ etc.
