WalMart, Sams, and Target Optical are all owned by the same
conglomerate...Luxottica. While we often complain about their prices,
and their lack of value, it is unusual (but not unprecedented) to find
a pair of glasses from them that is improperly made. Yet, you state
that you've had problems with your current prescription, from all 3
vendors.

Because of this, a thought occurs to me. Perhaps you have a problem
with the prescription itself, and not the glasses?

Logically, if an error was made while filling your prescription, the
error would be random. The probability that the *same* error creeped
in from 3 separate suppliers, 3 different times, on 3 separate pairs
of glasses, is exceedingly small. It's much more likely that they
were made right...but to the (identical) wrong prescription, each
time.
