Hi everyone,

I am really farsighted and need my specs all the time. I purchased a
pair from Wal-Mart in the fall for $500. I was really unhappy about
the discomfort and problems getting used to them. This was after
disasters at Sam's and Target. I finally made them give me my money
back. Maybe $500 isn't too much for something I so desperately need
but I must at least be able to wear them. Picky huh? <SMILE>

I have tried to read everything here and want to try the Zenni
Optical. Is this the best one for me? Has anyone gotten bifocals for
farsightedness from them. I will have my opthamologist fill out the Rx
sheet they have. Hopefully she won't be a butt about it. She is
normally a wonderful lady. I went to the guy she sent me to and he was
asking $400 just for lenses! Hopefully she won't give me a lecture.
I'd like to know how others with a condition similar to mine have
fared. Also how have the frames and the adjustments at local shops
worked for you?

I am currently still wearing my 5 year old raggedy, scratched
glasses but am getting very tired of them. Any input would be
appreciated. Feel free to write me directly at my email address also.

   Thanks to all.
