That is my thought as well. My advice to anyone is this--if you are
going to buy glasses and haven't had an eye exam in the past 6 months,
for heaven's sake, get the eye exam!
Is your fear that you might enter your prescription incorrectly when
you order online? You don't necessarily need your eye doctor to fill
out Zenni's form. In fact, you don't need to fill out the online form
either. If you have access to a fax machine you can fax the
prescription to any of the online vendors. That way they get the
written prescription with no chance of an keyboard input error.
I've bought several sets of progressives from Zenni and have been
absolutely delighted with each set. (I'm near-sighted, not far-
sighted) Same story with my wife (who is far-sighted). Since I've had
such good results with Zenni I haven't bought anywhere else. Everyone
else is more expensive and don't have the selection of frames that I
like.
