Firewalker: The list of materials is useful, but figuring out where I can *buy* any of these wonderful plastics is another matter entirely :) Discount online glasses retailers seem to be, well, discount retailers, and don't even seem to specify their lens materials well enough to pin down which of the entries on that list they might be, much less giving the Abbe numbers or real technical information.

Paul: Hm, surely all polycarbonate lenses ought to perform identically... unless they've changed the formulation of the material. Which wouldn't surprise me in the least, actually.
