Buying online takes lots of research and some trial and error to be successful. Most online places have as good or better return policies than your local chains, but there are limits when profit margins are so much smaller online. Unless you sprang for expensive lenses, you might be better off just writing this one off.
It's best to take good measurements from existing frames you like and buy new ones of (nearly) identical size. Very few people here don't have at least one pair they don't care very much about.
