Unfortunately my wife is probably going to be out-of-town that day and I don't think bringing our 1-year old to the meeting would add much to the ability of everyone to pay attention to Greg. :-)
I could bring my 2-year old, and 5-year old and setup a Linux for kids corner ;-) btw, I've already taught my sons that the penguin just works, but Mama's Windows computer sometimes crashes their games and Papa can't fix the code.
I am VERY interested in this talk, however. I would first like to ask Greg if he objects to having the discussion video taped. Greg??
I encourage anyone who wants to video tape the presentation to do so. I would like to learn more about how to shoot/edit/publish such video to CD-ROM, DVD or web using Linux.
If not, I would next ask if there is anyone going already that may be able to record it for me (and some of the other people who can't attend but are interested)? If you have your own recorder that would be great, but if not I could probably coordinate to lend my camera & tripod (just a wee bit nervous about the risk of accidental damage, of course).
If nobody else chimes in, I'll bring my digital video camera and tripod... but will be unable to operate it due to the fact that I'm presenting. Disclaimer: I don't have video lights, and can't vouch for how well it would capture low-light or on-screen images.
