It also has driver updates for numerous hardware devices, including some
SCSI, most notably (at least for purposes of this discussion) the Adaptec
AIC7xxx driver. However, at least one of our kernel engineers mentioned
that it may have known performance problems in certain areas. On the
other hand, I'm running it on all my home systems and haven't noticed any
degredation.
