Well, after my own foolishness got me vandalized, I'm back with a more or less buttoned down Redhat install. I had to give up on Debian, I just couldn't get it work. Linux as usual jumped of the CD and ran fine, but I could not get a decent KDE up and I found that GNOME looked interesting and I'd love to play with it but I could not figure out how to switch back and forth. Does anyone know how to either 1) make a user for Gnome and a user for KDE 2) make one user able to pick which one ? 3) install Debian ? Meanwhile, I'm salivating over a nice 4 CD Slackware that just arrived. Am I going to be sorry when I try that ? -- There's no such thing as a "pretty good" alligator wrestler.
