Feel free to do whatever you want with ly2dvi (well, you've always done
that, haven't you :-). I don't know python at all, so I can't contribute
to ly2dvi.py, at least not before I have learnt it.

I have to object a little, as always....:
Generally I don't like the idea that people have to install (a lot of)
additional software. But I see that a Bourne shell script may be less
portable to other platforms than Unix.

(But of course, the DOS/Windows people could install bash :)
