I'm very glad to here that. But then, why do we have such commands as 

    \include "paper16.ly"

or

    \paper { linewidth = 14.0 \cm; }

???

To me, these are typesetting commands and should be
eliminated. Stylesheets should be used to achieve the finetuning of
typesetted output.
