The subdirectories may be named differently, but the main thing is
that you remove all feta*.tfm and feta*.*pk files. The new font
files will be created on the fly when you run ly2dvi (and probably
yap) if the Lilypond .mf file directory is listed in MFINPUTS.
What kind of strange note heads do you get, are they some kind of
musical symbols or do you get ordinary characters? In the former
case you probably have some old version of a feta* file left somewhere
in the directory structure, in the latter case, MikTeX doesn't find
the Lilypond .mf files and replaces with some default font.
