This is my first attempt to get some reasonable chord symbol output from
lily, and it's looking pretty good. There are a few problems, though:
Chord #3, C diminished: The circle is in the correct spot, but a little too
big. If it could be the same size as #8, it would be perfect.
Chord #8, C diminished 7th: The circle should be a superscript, and the
numeral should not be superscripted.
Chord #12: C half-diminished 7th: Same as #8, but the "x" should really be a
circle with a forward slash through it. Does a character need to be created
for this?
Chord #13: The flat sign should be the same size as and in the same position
as the numeral.
Chord #19: Should be Cadd9, but lily is overriding it for some unknown
reason.
Chord #20: Should be C6/9, same as #19.
Chord #21: The numeral should be the same size as the letter.
Chord #22: Should be Cmaj9, same as #19.
I should say here (before anyone starts screaming) that there are synonyms
for some of these, such as C+ for Caug, Csus4 for Csus, Cdim for Co, etc...
I'm not sure how to handle synonyms (or if it's even possible to do so,
short of having a bunch of different files for each flavor of chord
symbols).
It's looking really good! Hats off to you guys! Now if only there were
fretboard diagrams... ;-p
