I'm curious though, why not work this directly into GnuCash's reporting
system? (same question for Ars) Is Scheme too high a bar? (I'm under no
illusion that it is simple)

(because it was suspiciously released 2 weeks before cashdera existed).
It’s cross platform, free and open source.
(To note - I don’t expect anyone here to actually use my personal project,
