License issues aside, the first issue I see is the lack of support for
all possible OS + data store combinations. Seems that Cashdera is (at
least currently) a MS Windows only application that supports just the
XML storage option of GnuCash. While GnuCash runs on Win, Mac, and
Linux; with the user's data stored in either XML, SQLite, MySQL, or
PostgreSQL.
I haven't looked to deeply myself, but I wonder if there exists any
analytics pertaining to how many of each combination are in use. I
suspect the majority of GnuCash users are on Linux or Mac.
