You should be fine within major version numbers. That is no different
than a regular upgrade from minor to minor version.
When changing major versions the Check & Repair function silently
executes and may alter configs to reflect new features or underlying
architecture changes. You can always copy an older config if that is all
you have and manually run Actions > Check & Repair > Check & Repair All
from the Accounts tab to perform any updates/fixes/alterations to those
configs. (and your book file) This should be done immediately after
first opening a book after such a migration/copy.
