While this might sound a bit trite to you................. i would
suspect that the temple committee that obtained permission to raze
this monument in the process of bulding a new one ....( possibly to
accomodate a greater number of devotees) could be persuaded to
incorporate into the facade and interior of the new structure
significant statuary and artifacts from the old temple in cause of
history and heritage preservation ??
Many new buildings in the west hold on to age-old artifacts and add
them into the design of the newer and more modern structures.
