Guardian Angel SC grab full points
Guardian Angel Sports Club scored a solitary goal win over Vasco Sports Club in the Goa Football Association Goa Professional League match played at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Thursday. Ashley Araujo score the match-winner in the 82nd minute after playing a drab draw in the first session. Vasco SC dominated the play in the first session with their new signing Penn Orji commanding the midfield with supplies and vital interceptions. The Former Kerala Blasters player stood a s a pillar in Vasco's midfield and made an immediate impression in his first appearance. However, the dominance couldn't be converted into lead as the Port Towners missed the chances that came their way. For Guardian Angel Sunny Fernandes came close to scoring but just couldn't keep his composure in front of the rival goal. The teams were tied 0-0 at the break. In the second half it wasn't a different story as Vasco SC continued with their attacking football. The strong Vasco SC just couldn't get past equally brilliant Guardian Angel goalkeeper Ozen Silva as the former Sesa Academy players came with brilliant saves to keep his side in the game. Ozen denied Beniston and Shubert on two occasion on one-on situation. Guardian Angel SC were lucky to sustain the pressure mounted by the determined Vasco SC. However in the final 10 minutes of the game it was end to end affair as Guardian Angel who were unlucky to break the Vasco SC defense finally scored the lone goal of the match when Clinton Niasso played an aerial cross in the box which was brilliantly met by Ashely Araujo. Guardian Angel SC kept the score line 1-0 till the final whistle.

Carambolim SC down Agassaim YC
Carambolim Sports Club registered a fluent 3-0 win over Agassaim Youth Club in the Goa Football Association Third Division League Ilhas Zone Played at Taleigao ground, on Thursday. Carambolim scored the first in the 16th minute through Devendra Goankar own goal. The goal came as a blow for Agassaim YC, who earlier had a decent game. Carambolim netted the second at the half hour mark through Mahendra Murgaonkar, thus making it worse for the Agassaim side.
The winners led 2-0 at the break.
Changing ends, Mayur Shirodkar netted the third for the winning side in the 80th minute.
