I would like to kindly request Roland not to put words in my mouth. I have
consistently acknowledged the positive aspects of Rajan's work as it applies to
Goa. I only submit that this work does not attest to Rajan's superior knowledge
about global economics compared to Goldman Sachs analysts and consultants. It
does not qualify or empower him to pass judgment on India as a nation.

Regarding the Goldman Sachs report, it is disheartening to see a man of Indian
ancestry find an optimistic assessment of India tawdry. No wonder he finds
nothing tawdry about Rajan's calling India a third rate country, Indians
ghantis and Indian IT professionals like Samir cybercoolies.

Cheers,

Santosh
