His book received favorable reviews by his historian peers when it was first published. They especially pointed out the fact that his analysis was dispassionate, objective and restrained. People who believe that they have a disagreement with what Priolkar stated in his book, or that he has misrepresented historical facts, should assure us that they have personally read his book, and provide examples of excerpts from it to back up their claims, along with historical sources that refute his writings.
