1) Anil Desai now writes: I would not belittle others' contributions the way you tried to do mine.
Before that, Anil had written in an earlier post: >I was in Goa couple of weeks ago. I saw examples of two types of Goans: one >I would admire, the other, equally goan, that I detest. The other > news I read was that Digambar Kamat, the one time leader in waiting of the saffron brigade and now the Kangress CM has been appointed as patron saint (or some such grandiose title) of an organisation called MARG. This is apparently an NGO/CSO. This organisation has been run by a Kelekar. Any relation? Any idea how much money this organisation takes from the govt coffers and how much of it goes to the concerned Kelekar? Is it this financial relationship with Digambar that makes Rajan a thorn in your side? If so, Goanetters should know. So, on the one hand, we have Rajan who is prepared to work selflessly for >Goa while>we have some niz goenkars on the gravy train. Anil, if the above is not belittling my father's contribution, and directly accusing me of taking undue advantage, what is it ? So, please practice before you preach. 2) As to foul language, I understand each person has his/her standards. The moderators are there to judge the standards which are applicable to the net. I do not find the language that I used as foul. I find it quite hypocritic though that you have never raised any objection to some serious foul language that your buddy Rajan Parrikar commonly uses. 3) I also take strong objection to your raising questions about my upbringing on this forum. Please let me tell you that such things are not appreciated at all by me, and future repeats of such things if any will be properly responded to. 4) Thanks for telling me about the work you are doing in Goa. It is much appreciated. 5) Btw, my father has read your post. His comment was the following : why did this guy stoop to the level of Dayanand Narvekar ? Incidently Narvekar was one person who raised the issue of funds to Marg in the assembly in order to put me down. And here you tried to target my father because you have no arguments to defeat me on the point that an American trying to meddle into Goan political affairs only deserves a 'vos mar'. regards, Samir
