Any response as to whether making public such a positioning might be a good
idea ("but give us a while to draw up some words") or not ("not so simple,
we're still working that ourselves and we want to see where it goes"), or
should I take silence as a sort of passive-aggressive dismissal of the
request ("pull your head in, big nose") ?

In the absence of any form of acknowledgement, I'd hate to infer the latter
:^)
