I doubt it Bev; we're the product so why charge? If you enable Google+
then you'll have unlimited space.

We were the product for TV too, but some people pay what I consider to be big bucks for cable now. I had hit 1G in my picasa account, so I opened a second account and started over. I should probably move the public albums to this account and the private ones to the other account, and then enable G+ in that one too.

On the whole I'm not impressed with what G+ has to offer. What it lacks is a way to make stuff you've already read disappear -- just like usenet and mail lists, both of which are far better than either G+ or Facebook. Better Facebook is an improvement, but it's still not as good as usenet, especially if you actually want to DISCUSS something instead of just rattling off a one-liner.

Have to agree with Patrick here ; the handwriting is on the wall. My
experience would indicate that when Google decides to abandon a
        product,
they often first stop updating it and then, after quite some
        time has
passed, announce that the product in question will no longer be
supported. That, for example, was what was done with the so-called
Picasa for Linux (which was *not*, as has been noted on this forum

I have to wonder if they're going to ultimately charge for the web
albums. Fortunately there are other free options, but it will be a
real nuisance to move/recreate what I have.
