I've set up a crossdomain file. I've seen any number of discussion threads 
where developers are having the same problem that I'm having. Google is 
going to make screen scraping as difficult as possible - even if the 
underlying motivations of the individual developer are completely innocent.
The memory leak is the result of multiple map instances being allocated 
(and supposedly deallocated when those instances aren't needed). I've had 
no problems when I instantiate a single instance and apply bitmapdata.draw 
to it, that is, until I try to do it over the 'Net.
