I was planning to do GoToMeeting for several sessions (SHRINE 9-10am, GROUSE
1-3pm, geocoding 3-5pm); I suppose we could try the 8am and 10am sessions as
well...

But the AV folks no longer support using a polycom phone in the room. A
cellphone is the only alternative they thought of. I'm not sure how well it's
going to work.

The weather south of here is OK but we have 1/4 inch of ice on the ground in
Omaha. If I got to the Interstate we would probably be OK but the side streets
make that a challenge. I stepped out my back door and every step is a caution.
I and our graduate students are going to participate tomorrow by GoTomeeting
if you can support that. Jim McClay tells me he will try at some point because
he has airline tickets from KC on Wednesday

We’re now over 40 degrees working up to a high in the 50s.

Does anyone need a ride to Jack Stack? I can swing by the holiday inn around
610 to pick more people up if needed.

Thanks for the update Russ. We are icing in Omaha with ground temperatures in
the 20's and air temp hovering at freezing. We will check with you in the
morning

Looking good here. It’s above freezing and will have a high of 50 tomorrow.
Really didn’t get the freezing rain too much on the roads in KC. I think
between Omaha and here the rains should clear up say at St. Joe’s tomorrow by
6am so the roads should be good.

We among others plan to drive to Kansas City. Can our colleagues at KU please
provide regular weather and driving condition updates for the interstates
inbound?
