Hi Dieter, it's already in there so it will be available in the next release. I also removed the EMPTY type and made the wires orange instead. Option is available in the View menu and is off by default.
ps. The network is almost never entirely recalculated (only on load and F5). Whenever you change a value or connection, it only recalculates those parts which are potentially affected. Also, if Grasshopper or Rhino events are disabled it might not even do that.
