Please, please add this information to your website. You go to great lengths to there to tell us all we need to know about Growl, except how to update it.
I installed the 1.2.2 update over my old version. Now Growl cannot bind to socket. Do I start over? How? Uninstall, then install it? Or just restart the machine? Please, reduce your time - and mine too - spent on tech support questions like this & reduce user anxiety by adding info on how to properly update. A one-liner instruction is all that is needed. And maybe add some info on what gets Uninstalled when running the Uninstaller. My prefs? Hate to lose them, which is why I did not run that uninstaller in the first place - no info on what happens.
