It also deprecated GtkRecentAction, because it deprecated the base GtkAction. So far it has no replacement for use in the world of GAction/GMenu/GtkBuilder instead of GtkAction/GtkMenu/GtkUIManager: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=707422 Isn't this reason enough to revert the deprecation of GtkAction and GtkUIManager?
