It’s an independent axis. Limitations in Debbugs cannot be fixed centrally because we don’t control the server. If we did decide to operate a bug tracker by ourselves it would suit us to pick one that didn’t also require a lot of effort to work around annoyances. The fact that we’ve used Scheme for a number of tools that don’t see many contributions aside from those who initially wrote them is a good reminder to adjust our expectations. -- Ricardo
