Much of the GCD is worthy of support, but what I believe causes repeated disagreement is the inclusion of the manual into the GCD rather than the other way around. The GCD should only give the mandate to change the manual. It is still foggy to me what changes of the Guix manual shall follow this GCD, despite I agree with the GCD’s words and think some of its wording can replace part of the manual. For example, the criticized “several months” in - Committers can lose their commit access when they violate their responsibilities or are inactive for several months. ” is not needed in the GCD for mandate when no change to the manual is in your intention.
