Hi,

I use a paperclip which I straightened out to act as a pin or whatever. Once you stick it into the hole, you don't have to press very hard at all to activate the reset button. The internal button is plastic and the inside of the hole is protected so there is no chance of shorting anything out. Once you press the reset button while holding down the 4 key, you can immediately let up on the reset button, but continue holding down the 4 key for around 20 seconds. Don't worry if you actually exceed the 20 seconds. In a few more seconds the booksense will reboot itself and your reset will be complete.

In those cases where this type of reset was performed, both voices worked normally after the reset was complete.

Some units seem to have this problem, but others do not. I believe HIMS is looking into this. It most likely will not happen when doing future upgrades.

Denise had to use something like a pin, or safety pin. The stylus didn't work. My wife is unsure if she even felt a give or not. In the end it rebooted itself but it was kind of a surpise.
Activating that button may just be a matter of practice.

HI folks. I tried taking out the battery several times and it did not
work. I found a styless and put it in the pinhole but when I put
pressure on it there was no give like there was no button to depress.
DO you have any other tips? Thanks. Would reinstaling the 1.1 beta or
roling back to the previous version help?
