The safest way is still a standard wooden toothpick.
I don't think that they cost too much.
I always carry a couple in the case with my unit now.

I really hate sticking anything metal into any electronic device!

Denise had to use something like a pin, or safety pin. The
stylus didn't
work. My wife is unsure if she even felt a give or not. In the
end it
rebooted itself but it was kind of a surpise.
Activating that button may just be a matter of practice.
