I noticed that when the Book Sense starts acting strange, I do a reset, by putting the end of a paper clip or tooth pick in the tiny hole on the side of the Book Sense and then hold down the number 4 at the same time, hold for a few seconds, release it and wait for the sound to come back up. That will reset it to its original state. That should fix the problem.
