Hi,

I don't usually write to these kinds of topics but I have had a terrible
experience with the Book Sense.

I am a new user and have been so excited to get it. I bought it after carefully
considering where to put the bucks because it is so expensive. I was
determined to get something that would meet my needs not only now but in the
future. Yesterday I had someone help me get my nls key
straightened out and learned how to download from bookshare and NLS. Although
NLS turned out to be a problem, things were looking up.

A little while ago I tried to download a book from bookshare. It went very
well. When I went to disconnect the bs from the computer it stopped
responding. I waited until I heard the computer say "Safe to remove hardware"
before I disconnected it. When I did disconnect it everything died. The bs
does absolutely nothing now. It doesn't even speak the time, turn on or off.
Let alone play anything. I'm so upset.

I have tried to reset it several times via hard reset and removal of batteries.
I get nothing. I even tried plugging it in and then resetting it. Nothing.

I was wondering if you have any suggestions.

I see a lot of people on here talking about returning to their strream and
think that's great if you can afford to do that. But I put out a lot of money
for this and don't have the cash to just say "Oh well" and go out and buy a
Victor Stream now. yt took a lot of research before I decided to buy it just
because of the cash output. I was hoping this would be something that would
work for me. Now it does nothing. I am so disappointed. Help if you can.

Thanks,
Donna
