I never even thought about that lock key switch. Donna, that is the one on the lower right as the key pad faces you. Make sure it is in the up position. If it is in the lower position, absolutely nothing will work and it is very disconcerting especially when you find you have bumped that switch and don't know it. I have done this a couple of times myself. Hope one of these methods helps you.
