I would be among the complainers. I like the lock switch as it is.

But Chip, if the BookSense says Locked each time a button is
pressed, people will complain about it saying locked, locked, locked
each time buttons are accidentally pressed when it's in their pocket
or backpack. The Book Port only beeped, and there were complaints
about those annoying beeps.

if the paper clip, pushed in for 10 seconds doesn't do it, then I'd really
look at the lock switch once more.
the victor says the word "locked" to tell you when you're trying something
and it's locked, this would be a great improvement for the BS.

In response to those who say I need to used 4 and toothpick, I did it
nothing happened.
I have done everything I can think of and some things others have suggested
including plugging it in and then resetting. Still nothing. I will call on
Monday and see what GW Micro says. Then I'll let you know.
Thanks,
Donna

Turn right, then go straight!
Jeremiah 29:11-14 (Amplified Bible)
11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the
Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to
give you hope in your final outcome.
12Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me,
and I will hear and heed you.
13Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital
necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.(A)
14I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you
from captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places
to which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back
to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.
