I have never had an issue with Eloquence slowing down. It does get the deepening pitch syndrome from time to time. Nor am I having any issues with stuttering speech. Using XP Pro on a not terribly fast machine.
When reading and deleting messages in Outlook, I found beta 1 tended to babble a bit. With beta 2 it's much more responsive in ceasing to speak when I want it to. Don't you just hate computers for their inconsistency sometimes. One very good reason for not likeing Eloquence among a lot of others I could list. ----- Original Message ----- From: Don H <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: gwmicro <mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2008 3:01 PM Subject: WE 7 beta 2 and eloquence Is it just the nature of Eloquence to slow down when using control shift r to read a document of some length. Seems as the longer it reads the slower it gets then it will go back to normal rate then start the process of slowing down again. It is very responsive when typing just not when reading a long document. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
