Actually you just explain the specs and what a better spec net book has out performed a lesser model.
The HP had better memory, hard drive, and memory. Plus Windows pro instead of Home. That tells you which is the better. The HP has a very nice keyboard, and the speakers are located along each side of the monitor. With a 160 GB hard drive, 1.75 GB of RAM, and Windows XP Pro. It also has a light metal case. This is a very nice little 10 inch laptop, and certainly wouldn't make a bad laptop for a lot of people. On the other hand the Dell was a bit smaller, not quite as thick as the HP, but there is no function key row so any time you want a function key you have to press the FN key along with one of the letters on the home row such as FN + ALT + F for Alt F4. It is also necessary to press the FN key to change the same key from period to slash, which is a bit painful when you forget. The speaker is small and sounds very cheap. But, what surprised me most was that the Dell with a 1.6 processor and solid state memory did not seem to perform as quickly as the HP with a 1.2 processor and a 160 hard drive. So, it tells me that just looking at specs isn't going to tell the whole story about these little computers. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
