Nothing is working. I even tried to see it when you tab to the system
tray and try to read the buttons. Well, tell ya what! It doesn't even
show up then. Not sure where to go to from here. I can't hit
CTRL-Shift-e to edit dictionaries like that either. Hmmmm. Now, where to?
Take care and thanks,
Brenda

Hi. You can try a couple of things. These icons don't label well
until the mouse goes over them. So, you can route the mouse to the
item with ins-numpad plus. I've also had luck by pressing the
application or context key while arrowing through the tray
list. Use the escape to get out of the connections tray. Also,
sometimes the ins-s will bring these to life as well. It's a bit of
a crap shoot with tray icons though.

Subject: how do I get Window-Eyes to not say "Unnamed"
Hello. How do I get Window-Eyes 7.01 to not say "Unnamed"?
Obviously the icon has a name to it. At any rate, what it is is
that in the system tray, my network connection icon is there, so I
can see the status of connections. Window-Eyes 6.1 used to say:
"Local Area connection"
and then it would give me the status. But now, I only get:
"Unnamed".
Is there a way to label that? Thanks, in advance,
Brenda
