Hi the reason for this is window-eyes would scan the system tray icon buy
icon trying to get each tool tip.  This was time consuming  and not always
reliable. Now window-eyes asks the system tray threw msaa what is there
giving you a instant view of the tray and it is much more reliable.  The
problem is there is a long standing bug that the documented way of getting
system tray icons does not always name each icon.  Jaws ignores these
unnamed icons while window-eyes does not.
